Here are the 2017 Academy Award Nominees

Good morning! Announced just a few minutes ago, here is the entire slate of nominees for this past year's round of Oscar contenders. Of note, La La Land has secured 14 nominations, tying the all-time record and making its ascendancy to Best Picture rather assured barring a surprise on awards night.

As for snubs, the lack of Amy Adams in the Best Actress category is surprising, and I'm sure some will be surprised at Denzel Washington not scoring a Best Director nod either.

But hooray for The Lobster sneaking in for Best Original screenplay, and Hell or High Water grabbing a Best Picture nomination. Very well deserved!
