The Vision #7
by Mike Del Mundo
This cover really shows off Del Mundo's shading skills–I love the silky flow that surrounds everything and becomes the title.
Frontlines: Requiem #1
by Gary Erskine
Nice character work here, both in design and acting, and I like the classic sci-fi background.
House of Penance #2
by Ian Bertram
Bertram's off to a great start with these covers–really phenomenally designed, with lots of loving detail and gruesome visuals.
Ink Brick #2
by Keren Katz
This one is pretty unusual, and I really like the fine art approach that really begs some careful studying to understand.
Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers #3
by Tula Lotay
The amount of character and personality that Lotay is able to portray in a single image is pretty impressive, and great eye-catching color here.
Samurai #3
by David Mack
Only Mack could pull off an image like this with his signature watercolor style. Beautiful!
Satellite Falling #1
by Stephen Thompson
Excellent color work and design here. It's bold with its main character but detailed on the fringes, and is certainly intriguing enough as a first issue.
The Fix #2
by Steve Lieber
I love how this cover takes iconography that is key to the book's setting but looks at it from such a hard angle as to make it all but unrecognizable. Then to have the characters comically tiny is just the cherry on top. Excellent!
