The Autumnlands: Tooth & Claw #6
by Ben Dewey
The framing and color contrast make this one visually very interesting. It breathes motion and the perspective gives it a sense of hopelessness accentuated nicely by the cold lower half.
Bizarro #1
by Kyle Baker
Let's face it: Bizarro is almost always a one-trick pony, but Baker's managed to use that in a way that feels new and hilarious. The cartooning is phenomenal here!
The Amazing Spider-Man #18.1
by Yasmine Putri
I absolutely love the reversal here; while at first glance it's the same iconic pose we've seen a million times, but the context in the details make it so much more. Fun!
Halogen #4
by Afu Chan
The cover for this series' last issue is maybe its best. Simply gorgeous!
Groot #1
by Declan Shalvey
Shalvey manages to capture the innocence, wonder, and power of this fan-favorite character with one beautiful image!
Broken World #1
by Christian Ward
I dig the theme of this first issue's covers with the shattering circle too big to contain, and Ward's version contains all the fiery power and retro-ism of the cosmos that I can't resist.
Dead Drop #2
by Raul Allen
Allen pulls off another stunningly fun design piece that just oozes an intense action movie vibe.
Spider-Woman #8
by Javier Rodriguez
The sense of destructive action is fantastic here, but it's the bold primary colors contrasting with the dingy machinery that really makes this cover pop.
That's it for this week. What did I miss? Let me know on Twitter or Facebook!
