The Wachowskis' Netflix Series 'Sense8' Has A Synopsis And Release Date

For those of you who are still on the Wachowskis train after Jupiter Ascending, they may have a chance to redeem themselves with their upcoming Netflix Original Series, Sense8.

Premiering on June 5th, and co-written with Babylon 5 and comics creator J. Michael Straczynski, here's the first description we've gotten for the new series:

One gunshot, one death, one moment out of time that irrevocably links eight minds in disparate parts of the world, putting them in each other's lives, each other's secrets, and in terrible danger. Ordinary people suddenly reborn as "Sensates."

Sense8 stars Brian J. Smith, Tuppence Middleton, Aml Ameen, Bae Doona, Miguel Angel Silvestre, Tena Desae, Max Riemelt, and Jamie Clayton. Episodes will be directed by the Wachowskis, Straczynski, Tom Tykwer, James McTeigue, and Dan Glass.
