Kelly Reilly, Abigail Spencer, And Levin Rambin Joining 'True Detective' Season 2

It looks like the lead cast of True Detective Season 2, which will begin filming fairly soon, and already has Colin Farrell, Vince Vaughn and Taylor Kitsch in tow. There had been reports that Rachel McAdams was offered the role of the female lead, but it looks like plans may have changed.

Deadline reports that Kelly Reilly (Flight), Abigail Spencer (Rectify) and Levin Ramblin (The Hunger Games) are all headed to the series. Reilly is playing a character named Morgan, who is described as "self-possessed" and considered a regular role. Spencer and Ramblin will be joining in a supporting capacity.

Character actor Michael Irby is also signing on for a role as well, believed to be the partner of Rachel McAdams lead character.

Justin Lin will direct the first two episode of the new season, taking place in California.
