Grayson #1
by Jock
Dick Grayson as Batman, drawn by Jock. Oh how I miss this...
Coffin Hill #9
by Dave Johnson
I've always loved the insanely awesome design of the title, but I like the combination of soft shading and hard angular lines on the eyebrows and nose on this one a lot.
Justice League United #3
by Jeff Lemire
Can't Jeff Lemire just draw all of DC's books? Just for a month, maybe?
Winter Soldier: The Bitter March #5
by Andrew Robinson
I love how dense the storytelling is in this cover, and the layout and text style tell you exactly what you're getting. I think four out of the five issues of this series made it in here!
Batgirl #33
by Cliff Chiang
Chiang is so clearly a modern master; the minimal shading and pop-art style linework, the intricate detail on the architecture, the careful balance of contrast. Can't wait to see what he does after Wonder Woman!
The Life After #1
by Nick Pitarra
This is what Pitarra's great at: creating a wacky scene with a lot of fun detail and great facial cartooning!
That's it for this week. What did I miss? Let me know on Twitter or Facebook!
