Writers assigned for the Third Amazing Spider-Man sequel and the Fantastic Four reboot

News over the past few days has begun trickling in regarding Sony and Fox's furthered efforts to continue to build their own cinematic superhero universes.

Yesterday, in a shot likely providing to the idea that their new Rebooted Fantastic Four film will be crossing over with the somewhat revitalized X-men franchise; Fox brought X-Men: Days of Future Past writer Simon Kinberg to tackle the script for the new take on Marvel's first family.

Kinberg, as the writer behind films such as X-Men: The Last Stand and an uncredited script doctoring of the first go-round with Fantastic Four, means he's no stranger to these characters. It also means he's no stranger to terrible films.

In related terrible movie news, Sony announced today that Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzmann, and Jeff Pinkner, the former two of Star Trek Into Darkness infamy, will be returning to their Amazing Spider-Man 2 scripting duties to tackle the third film in the franchise (and probably the fourth barring an epic box-office disaster, which isn't out of the cards). The Amazing Spider-Man films are seemingly building to a big Sinister Six style storyline, but the real question is...which character will be the stand-in for George W. Bush and who will have magic healing blood?
