The Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special Has A Title

The much anticipated Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special, airing in November, has been a source of speculation amongst the show's fans for quite some time. From the announcement that David Tennant and Billie Piper would return as The Tenth Doctor and Rose respectively, John Hurt would appear as another incarnation of The Doctor, and the involvement of the long-time classic Who villains, The Zygons; there's been much excitement around the event. That of course doesn't even take into account Peter Capaldi's Twelfth Doctor, which is right around the corner.

Now the episode has a name according to BleedingCool, and it is "The Day of The Doctor".

The 75 minute special, will as previously announced, be paired with the "behind the scenes" drama "An Adventure in Space and Time" starring David Bradley as William Hartnell about the creation of Doctor Who, written by Mark Gatiss.

Enjoy your Matt Smith while you can folks!
