Archer Episode 402: The Wind Cries Mary Review

I've been a fan of Archer since the very first episode and with the second episode of season 4, "The Wind Cries Mary", the show has not let me down.

Sure, this episode isn't the funniest episode ever, but it continues in the long tradition of cutting edge comedy that the show is known for.

This episode, Archer and his former best friend are holed up in Vermont, trying to stay alive. Now, I really can't give much away about the episode because the big reveal isn't the big reveal at all. You have to wait till the end of the episode so you can truly experience what happens. And it is well worth the wait.

JUSTIFIED's Timothy Olyphant guest stars as Archer's best friend who has been leading a far from less complicated life since Sterling last saw him.

While the show is called Archer, the supporting cast really makes the show one of the stand outs when it comes to the Thursday night comedy world. One of the real shooting stars as of late, is Pam. The portly head of the HR department at ISIS. Amber Nash has grabbed the character and really sent her right into the stratosphere.

The dynamic between H. Jon Benjamin and Olyphant is really something, especially once the reveal is well, revealed.

I really want to talk at huge length about the episode, but I don't want to spoil things for you. It's just that great.

This episode gets a B+. Because while it's great, it's not the strongest episode that the show has produced, but still an important entry into what I feel is going to be an AMAZING season 4!
